Agility PR, one of the UK’s fastest growing technology-focused PR consultancies, has expanded its account handling team with the appointment of Sarah Barnes as a senior consultant this month.
With over ten years PR experience, Barnes has extensive knowledge of a wide range of sectors and PR disciplines, having previously worked for many years at Good Relations, part of the Chime Communications group, as well as holding in-house positions at Which? (previously the Consumer’s Association), Hertfordshire Constabulary and for LighterLife (the weight management programme). Within the technology arena, she has previously worked with consumer giant Philips Electronics and legislation compliance specialist WEEE Audit. Barnes will be responsible for client handling on a range of new accounts wins for the agency including contact centre solutions provider ProtoCall-One, service desk software provider Vivantio and application performance management integrator Teneo. Barnes’ appointment brings Agility’s headcount to five as the company works towards its goal of achieving 20 per cent fee income growth in the financial year to 30th June . Miles Clayton, managing director, Agility PR, commented:“Sarah joins Agility PR at an exciting time for us following three recent client wins which broaden our reach into new technology areas. Sarah will enable us to maintain our focus on consistent high quality of service across the entire client-base while injecting new ideas and increasing pace into some of our more long-standing client campaigns.”
