Miles Clayton – Founder and Managing Director

Miles has worked in technology PR for the last 15 years, having completed an MSc in PR at Stirling University in 1992. In five years he worked his way up the ranks from Assistant Account Executive at Rowland Worldwide in Hong Kong to Associate Director at Citigate Dewe Rogerson (now part of Huntsworth plc).  During this time Miles led account teams for more than 40 software, hardware and services clients ranging from AIM listed Focus Solutions Group to Integralis (now part of the Germany-listed Articon-Integralis).  

He set up Agility PR in July 2003 in a back room of his house with enough in the bank to buy a laptop and a desk to put it on.

Simon Bennett – Account Director

Simon, has more than 8 years of experience in marketing management roles, most recently working as National PR Manager for British Gas Business, and has also held marketing positions in The Automobile Associaton (AA) and SES-ASTRA (satellite operator).  Simon has strong media relations and writing skills and is also a part-time DJ with regular shows on local radio Hertbeat FM.

Debra Wilkins – Senior Consultant

Debra has more than 10 years of experience in strategic PR roles.  She joined Agility PR from Itheon Networks, where she was PR Manager, with strong media relations in high tech computing IT and Networks.  Debra has many years of experience working in partnership with large IT vendors such as Microsoft, IBM and Novell.

Sarah Barnes – Senior Consultant

With over 10 years PR experience, Sarah has extensive knowledge of a wide range of sectors and PR disciplines, having worked for many years at Good Relations, part of the Chime Communications group.  She has also held in-house positions at Which? (formerly the Consumer Association), Hertfordshire Constabulary and LighterLife where she was PR Manager.
